Our Boat is fitted out for Fly Fishing

Our boat has a front mounted 70lb remote controlled sneaker motor, TWIN Lenco Marine rear electric trolling motors, a front seat and standing platform, together with a shallow draft making it the ideal means for getting to the fish using stealth. For Deep Sea Fly Fishing we do not use the front mounted sneaker.

We are not a charter that just lets you fly fish on our boat, fly fishing is one of our specialties and so we are guiding you all the way and joining in to show you how it works.

For Fly Fishing bookings we take a maximum of 2 anglers, and in many cases only 1 angler is able to cast at a time; because we are a ski boat based charter, it is still an affordable outing for only 1 person.

Fly Rods are a personal item, and so we do not provide them to our clients like we do with other fishing styles, as this is a specific angling sport which the angler will already have his own equipment and know how to use it.

Fly Fishing is one of our specialties, and we don’t just take you out on the boat a let you cast your fly, we guide, assist and encourage you all the way.

With many years of fly fishing experience in both Saltwater & Freshwater, including representing Kwa Zulu Natal for Fly Fishing, you host and guide is a fly fisherman himself who has a passion for fly fishing and will understand your needs.

Fly Fishing on the boat is limited to 2 persons to enable you to get the most of your time spent and to ensure quality attention. We do not share the boat with other bookings so you will have the space to cast and get to do what you want.

From Deep Sea, to Estuary to Freshwater we target a variety of Game Fish on fly.
